Community-mindedness

The members of staff encourage the development of each individual child within the community. We respect the delicate balance between collective and individual needs, and remain attentive to their need, be it for greater independence or for some quiet time alone.

The children develop self-respect, and also learn to respect others, mainly during moments of play and exchange with children of other age-groups within the daycare.

They are taught the basic interpersonal skills which will enable them to cohabitate with others; they learn to abide by rules and to respect boundaries, they are taught politeness as a basis for harmonious human relations. The children are thus well prepared for school, and for society as a whole.

These values of citizenship are also reflected in the team's commitment to increasing respect of the environment. We are currently in the process of obtaining an eco-friendly label, and of using organic products (starting with hygiene and cleaning agents, then introducing organic food).
